AER LABS is a wellness-first tech startup redefining how people experience the outdoors. Our mobile app helps users discover cleaner, more restorative environments using real-time air quality insights, route discovery, and community features.


We are seeking a student team to help us design a marketing launch plan that will guide AER LABS from early beta testing toward broader adoption. Students will work closely with the founding team to conduct industry research, explore our target market, and create actionable recommendations around positioning, user acquisition, and launch strategy.



Project Objectives:

• Market & Consumer Research: Analyze target segments in the wellness, fitness, and outdoor activity space to identify the most promising early adopters.

• Competitive Benchmarking: Research how similar apps and wellness brands have positioned themselves, launched, and acquired early users.

• Brand Positioning: Recommend strategies for refining AER’s brand voice and value proposition to resonate with our audience.

• Go-to-Market Plan: Create a launch strategy for our invite-only beta, including outreach tactics, social media strategy, and user acquisition goals.

• Marketing Best Practices: Suggest KPIs and measurement frameworks to evaluate success.

Deliverables

Deliverables:

• A marketing launch report (approx. 15–20 pages) with research findings and actionable recommendations.

• A proposed launch plan tailored to AER LABS, including timelines, channels, sample messaging, and measurement strategies.

• A presentation of key insights and recommendations to the founding team.


Expected Outcomes:

• A clear understanding of AER LABS’s positioning within the wellness and outdoor app market.

• Actionable recommendations for acquiring our first 100–200 users.

• A step-by-step marketing launch plan we can execute immediately and refine over time.
