digital marketingDuring the fall of 2019, KASI will be launching an online data portal where consumers will be able to purchase data collected from key African economies using a subscription model. The data will be broken down by business sectors, including, Health, Finance, Retail (FMCG/CPG), Mobile, and Technology, amongst others; and by countries.
For example, a marketer for a Kenyan bank may be interested in purchasing our Finance research data to help them understand consumers’ demographic profile, banking needs, and usage of financial services in Kenya.
To support our launch, we'd like the students to produce an effective digital marketing and communication plan. This will help Kasi Insight develop brand and product awareness, and increase the number of followers on our social media platforms.
Our target audience (clientele): Marketing Execs within i. FMCG companies, ii. Retailers (Supermarkets, Drugstores, Clothing, Electronics, etc), iii. Mobile service providers, iv. Multinationals, and v. Banks; Small-to-Medium Businesses (SMEs); start-ups, and entrepreneurs.
The African countries we currently cover: Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, South Africa, Cameroon.
Our target goals:
- We recently opened a Facebook account and are planning to attain at least 2,000 followers/friends by year-end
- 20% increase in our LinkedIn connection list and Twitter followers list
- Create brand and product awareness amongst our target clientele
